Your Throne Membership unlocks continuous, effortless monitoring of your gut health, hydration, and urological function. Paired with the Throne device, your membership provides personalized, science-backed insights that help you proactively manage your health, right from your toilet.

How Much Does Throne Membership Cost?

The Throne Membership is available for $6/month and gives you full access to all features within the Throne app. Membership and its in-app features are currently only available within the United States and must be purchased with a credit card and billing address located in the U.S.

When you purchase your Throne device from the Throne online store, your membership subscription will begin once you activate the device in the Throne app.

Your Throne Membership is tied to your personal Throne Account, not the physical Throne device itself. If you purchase an additional Throne device using an existing account, you will not receive another complimentary membership period.


How Do I Activate My Throne Membership?

Activating your Throne Membership is simple. When setting up your Throne device, you’ll be guided through the membership activation process within the Throne app. You’ll create a Throne account using your preferred email address and set up your payment method.

Your Throne Membership begins immediately once your device is paired with the Throne app. After activation, your payment method will be automatically billed $6 each month. You can easily manage or cancel your membership at any time through your account settings.

The email address you use to set up your Throne account can be different from the one used to purchase your Throne device. To check which email address is connected to your Throne Membership, navigate to Settings in the Throne app, and you'll find it listed under Account.

Currently, Throne does not offer prepaid memberships or other add-on payment options. All memberships require an active Throne account with a valid payment method on file.


What Payment Methods Are Accepted For Throne Membership?

You can pay for your Throne Membership using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover credit card. At this time, we do not accept PayPal, Affirm, or Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards as payment methods.


Where Can I Manage Or Cancel My Throne Membership?

You can manage your Throne Membership directly in the Throne app:

  1. Open the Throne app and tap the Profile icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Tap Manage Membership.

From here, you can:

  • View your membership status, billing details, and next payment date.

  • Update your payment method and billing address.

  • Cancel your membership: If you cancel, you'll retain access to Throne features until the end of your current billing period.

Note: Changes or cancellations will take effect at the end of your current monthly billing cycle. Partial refunds are not available for canceled memberships.


Can I Transfer My Throne Membership To A New Device?

Your Throne Membership is tied to your Throne account, not your physical device. If you replace your device or set up an additional one, your existing membership automatically applies once you pair the new Throne device with your Throne app.

Your Throne experience remains seamless, no matter which device (or how many devices!) you use.


How Do I Renew My Throne Membership?

If you have an active payment method on file, your Throne Membership will automatically renew every month. There's no need to manually renew.

If you've previously canceled your Throne Membership, you can easily reactivate it through the Throne app after your current billing period has ended.

Please note that your Throne Membership cannot be paused or temporarily suspended.


Can I Use My Throne Device Without A Throne Membership?

Your Throne Membership unlocks the complete Throne experience, including comprehensive gut health, hydration, and urological insights.

Without an active membership, you'll retain access only to basic historical data collected while your membership was active. However, you won’t receive any new insights, personalized recommendations, or real-time analysis of future sessions.

If your membership is inactive, the Throne app will provide limited access to settings and your previously captured data. You will always have the ability to export your personal data securely through the Throne app.

Note: All Throne One users require an active membership to access real-time insights and advanced tracking features.


Will I Lose My Throne Data If I Cancel My Membership?

No. If you cancel your Throne Membership but keep your Throne account active, all your personal health data and session history will be securely stored according to our Privacy Policy.

Even without an active membership, you'll be able to view your historical data collected during your active membership period and export it securely through the Throne app.


Can I Gift A Throne Membership?

Currently, Throne does not offer the option to gift a membership or purchase prepaid membership plans. To access Throne’s features, each user must set up their own Throne account with an active payment method on file.


What Is A Lifetime Membership?

Currently, Throne does not offer a Lifetime Membership option. All Throne Memberships are billed monthly at $6 per month or $70 per year.

If you have questions about your existing membership status, you can verify it within the Throne app by navigating to Settings > Manage Membership.
