Download The Throne App
You must have iOS 16 or Android 14 or greater Operating System versions running on your mobile device to download the Throne app. Please select the appropriate app to begin transforming your routine moments into useful health insights.
Note: If on iOS you will first be asked to download TestFlight if you do not have it. Then, you’ll be able to install the Throne app.
Plug In Your Device
Before proceeding, please make sure you have plugged your Throne device into an outlet and that it is charging (a yellow/orange LED on the top should light up).
This is required to remove the device from Ship Mode and have it be active and ready for use.
Sign Up
Using the Throne app, register your Throne account.
The app will guide you through installation and onboarding.
Setup Overview
Creating your account: Sign up using your email and verify your information.
Connecting to Bluetooth: Bring your phone near the device and follow the on-screen prompts for pairing.
Connecting to Wi-Fi: Connect to your home network so your data syncs securely to the cloud.
Updating firmware if needed: If a firmware update is available, the Throne app will walk you through installing it.
Placing Throne One on your toilet: Slide the device onto the side rim of your toilet so the camera faces into the bowl. The Throne app includes visual guides to help you align it correctly.

Hands-Free Sessions: Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate your first hands-free demo session.
Assigning your user button: Press and hold one of the included buttons to assign it to your profile. This becomes your method of starting and stopping sessions if you’re not carrying your phone for Hands-Free sessions.
Activate your membership:You’ll be prompted to start your Throne membership during setup. This unlocks daily hydration and gut health insights, trends over time, and full access to your session history.
At this point, setup is complete.
