How To Connect Additional Members To Your Throne Device

How to add multiple household members to a single Throne device so each person has their own private account and session history.

Before You Start

Each additional user will need:

  • Their own Throne account

  • The Throne app installed on their phone

  • Bluetooth and WiFi enabled

  • Access to the shared Throne device (up to 6 members can be linked to a single device)

A single Throne device can support up to 6 unique membership accounts at a time, but each person must set up their own profile to keep data private and accurately assigned.


Have Each Person Create Their Own Throne Account

Every household member needs a unique Throne login.

To create an account:

  1. Download the Throne app

  2. Tap Create Account

  3. Verify email

  4. Accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy

Once signed in, the user will be ready to connect to the household device.


Add The Device Through The Throne App

From the new user’s phone and active membership account you will want to Add A New Device:

  1. Open the Throne app

  2. Tap the orange profile icon in the top right corner

  3. Under My Devices, tap Add Device

  4. Place the phone near the Throne device

  5. Follow the on-screen onboarding steps to pair the device

The app will guide the user through connecting to the existing household Throne device.


Assign A Button Or Use Hands Free Mode

Each Throne device has two buttons that can be assigned to specific members. Only one button can be assigned to a member at a time.

During onboarding the member will be prompted to:

Assigned buttons help the Throne device identify who is starting a session. Hands Free mode allows Throne to detect the user automatically as long as their phone is nearby.


Understanding How Throne Identifies Users

Throne can recognize each person through:

  • Bluetooth proximity

  • The Throne Button assigned during setup

  • Session patterns connected to the user’s account

Each session is securely assigned to the correct user’s profile. Data does not mix between accounts.


Privacy Reminder

Each member's information is stored privately within their own Throne account.

  • The device only captures the bowl, never the person

  • Any frame containing part of a person is automatically deleted

  • All data is encrypted before it leaves the device

Only the account owner can view their session history or insights.
