Before You Start
You will need:
The Throne app installed on your phone
An active Throne account
Your Throne device nearby and powered on
Bluetooth enabled on your phone
Managing button assignments usually takes one to two minutes.
Each account can only be assigned to one button at a time. Any assigned buttons must be linked to active accounts to function.
Understanding Throne Buttons
Each Throne device has two buttons. These buttons allow you to start and stop a session manually and can also help identify which user is active when multiple people share the same device.
Each account can be assigned to one button at a time.
Each device can have two users assigned at once, one on Button 1 and one on Button 2.
Note: There is no option to remove or clear a single button.
How to Assign or Change Your Button
Open the Throne app.
Tap the orange profile icon in the top right corner.
Under My Devices, select your Throne device.
Tap Button Assignment.
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter pairing mode.
When prompted, press either Button 1 or Button 2 on your Throne device.
Tap Done to confirm the assignment.
Your account is now linked to that specific button.
Using Your Assigned Button
Once assigned, your button can control manual Throne sessions.
Press your assigned button once to start a session.
Press the same button again to end the session.
Walking away will also end your session automatically.
Note: A session is active when the white LED illuminating the toilet bowl.
Changing Your Button Assignment
If you need to switch from Button 1 to Button 2 or vice versa, repeat the steps above and press the new button when prompted. The app will update your assignment automatically.
Removing Assigned Users
If both buttons are already assigned and one or both need to be changed, or if you want to remove a user from being assigned a button you will need to reset your Throne device:
Hold down Button 1 for 20 seconds.
The red LED will circle the camera and then pulse three times.
Release the button to complete the reset.
After the reset, the device must be re-added to the Throne app. You can then assign buttons again using the steps above.
